“Sometimes the heart speaks only when the room is empty.”
After everyone goes home, emotions come out of hiding.
The tears you didn’t shed.
The questions sometimes left unanswered.
Thoughts not expressed and left beneath polite smiles.
This is emotion finding its way.
It’s your heart speaking now that the world has quieted enough for you to hear it.
Let the emotions come without judgment, there is no need to categorize them. You do not need to justify them ,just feel them, name them, honor them. They are part of the story of your becoming.
When the noise dissolves,
emotions can rise.
Let it speak,
you can hear it now.
Gentle practice:
Take five minutes alone and put your hand on your heart.
Ask quietly: “What did I feel yesterday that I didn’t have space to feel?”
-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, we’ll talk about reclaiming your space after being around energy that doesn’t match your own.

This is a beautifully tender and profoundly insightful reflection on the quiet language of the heart. I love how it honors the emotions that often go unnoticed in the rush and noise of daily life, gently reminding us that our feelings don’t need to be explained, judged, or categorized—they simply need to be acknowledged and felt.
The imagery of the heart speaking “only when the room is empty” is evocative and universal, capturing that sacred moment when silence allows true self-awareness to surface. I particularly appreciate the gentle, practical guidance of placing a hand on your heart and asking what went unspoken—it transforms introspection into a compassionate, actionable practice.

Thank you so much… the hand on my heart is a practice I do often .. it immediately takes you from an over active mind to a heart space where all things align .

Wonderful words, Kerri. Sometimes God lets our hearts speak loudest in the quiet moments. He meets us there, helps us feel, heal, and keep going.
God bless you, my friend.

For sure, so many times I didn’t want or like the quiet and now I know it’s there where the processing and patience comes together equaling peace with solutions or just a new perspective.
Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
