Quote a note #2

0205-2018-092626805992931829214357284.jpeg

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

~Steve Jobs~

3-day quote challenge

First, let me explain the rules:

Thank the person who nominated you.

Post a quote for 3 days and explain why it appeals to you.

Nominate 3 new bloggers each day

Thank you so much https://pascaleshealingjourney.wordpress.com/

Most of my quotes I write myself with a few favorites intermingled in when I feel it. Today I’ll share my favorite of all time with my reason and a photo and link of my son Zak 24 years young, who left this earth July 30, 2017. Way sooner than my heart is capable of understanding fully.

This quote has been on just about everything I’ve ever done. It holds so much depth for me and now it holds even more. Zak was so innovative, he was far beyond the times of today, he knew more than the average human and I always thought he had super powers and now I know he did.

He never let the noise of others drown out his dreams and his goals. He got his first recording deal when he was battling his first round of Leukemia in the hospital. He never stopped even in his bed when he could barely move or sing. He was a blonde, blue-eyed rapper and lived to HIS own beat and he started at about 6. He knew then (because he had superpowers) his time here was limited so he made a quick impact.

He went to Seattle Art Institute for production and wrote tons of songs others use and tons of songs he used, he wasn’t here to impact the faint of heart. He was here to let you know he had something to say and wake up the world, there is more going on than you see.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKCRtr6XizI

He never let anyone tell him he couldn’t, it was something I taught the kids young, you say can’t in my presence and that meant push-ups or an essay as to why you think that and how you can change that thought to something more productive or positive.

He always followed his heart and he shared his deepest hurts and truths of the world through his heart and intuition. He felt and saw darkness as deep as he felt and saw the light. He intermingled in both at times in his life as if to create a joining of forces.

He was not afraid to share the reality of life how he saw it and he wasn’t afraid to walk into the darkness and see why people were there. He was the light no darkness could touch, I asked him once, “are you ever scared?” He said,”HELL YA mom I’m scared but that won’t keep me down.” He was internally curious and that is a priceless gift.

BONUS QUOTE: Stand in your truth, don’t back down in pressure but experience the steam, it seldom lasts, but your light will carry on.

Is that you

lrm_export_20180408_122938204989982.jpg

Nature projects different views for you to adventure through. Those views were not set in place to be a judgment of person or place but an adventure through your most inner sacred space.

Stretch your limbs

Below the suns rays

Watch your shadow appear

A distortion of reality

So clear

But is it you

Magnified in this view

So different

Then the reflection in a mirror

Which one are you

The reflection on the water

The shadow on earth

Or the soul observing

How you view

SUNSHINE

Limb by Limb

~Kerri Elizabeth~

Embrace the reflection
Limb by limb again
Rightside up
Upside down
Significant details are profound
Imagine that was you
In the reflection and truth
What would you see
With no mistaking
Limb by limb
Wrinkle by wrinkle
Do you love what you see
Like the reflection of this tree

The rules for accepting the award are as follows:
Thank the Blogger who nominated you.
Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
Display the rules and the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post.
Here are the questions given to me to answer from Sally G. Cronin’s, https://awakeningwildflower.com/, https://smorgasbordinvitation.wordpress.com/:

1.Can you tell us about yourself in 100 words or less?

I am a nature wanderer and lover of life, a waterfall luster that includes swimming for miles(literally) feeling my most freedom and peace there, this qualifies me as a lake lusting mermaid as well, I thought I was a mom first but they all grew up and left home and my son recently grew his wings way faster than I can process and flying the heavens in fighter jets. What I found out recently is that in all my studies and all the wonderful knowledge I have built over these years, it really comes down to I’m me and that envelopes a ton of passions that all lead to nature.

My blog was created to be all about encouragement and a creative invitation to allow your own thought provoking inspiration to bubble up, in all kinds of ways and perspectives. .

3.What is the strongest memory from your childhood?

Living in the mountains, precisely why I am so drawn to it now, it was my refuge and still is.

4.Can you tell us more about where you live and why you call it home?

I left my home, my personal training gym and spa when my son got cancer almost 5 years ago. I never looked back, it was a new journey to invest all I am and have into my child.

( A lot here in the middle)

I live in the sunshine right now and am blessed to have more than what I need and a support system around me that is rock solid unconditional love to go through the exploration of a new self after the loss of my child.

6.Is there a country that you have not visited but is on your wish list?

I would love to go to Indonesia, really, I would love to experience as many as I can in my life.

7.Who is your favorite author and why?

I love reading and have so many and my favorite changes, its completely in the moment for me. I’m usually reading new things I can grow from.

8.What is your favorite meal?

I love raw foods and am super creative with food so this one too is dependent on the moment. Id say probably fresh juice in my juicer tops it all for me.

9.What is your favorite musician and can you let us have a YouTube link so that we can listen to them? I would say anything Tim McGraw and Faith Hill …………….

10.What is your favorite film and why?

Lion King, it was always a movie my son and I watched and had mom and son dinner dates together up until his last days and then he wanted to watch Tarzan with his entire family around. I’d say those two because they remind me of him and our time. I don’t own a TV and never have so I’m not a TV or movie buff.
11.If you could live in another time.. decade or century.. what would that be?

In the 50s and 60s for sure when you could dance in the streets and there was no traffic or social media and nature was everywhere, you didn’t have to drive miles to it, and you spoke to people on the phone and not computers.

Thank you also to my beautiful friend and blogger for you questions. I loved your questions and answered them all to myself out of curiosity. https://awakeningwildflower.com/

Mother Nature supplies you with all you need, you must open your senses and be willing to escape the pace that keeps you chasing yourself and be willing to create a healthy space for YOU to arrive!

Affordable feel good Skincare:

My favorite is to let my skin be free in nature, rub mud and clay all over me and scrub and feel the magic of mother natures energy!

IMG952018010795143923556I

A few common questions I am asked about skin as an esthetician.

What do you use on your skin? Coconut oil

How much does it cost? Depends on if it’s organic and how much you use.

Do I need expensive products? No

Does it matter if I’m older what I use? This is individual.

These are of course just some of the common questions, feel free to ask me anything you’d like. I have been making most of what I use on clients and on my own skin for years now.

I don’t buy expensive products, although I have over the years and I don’t like the chemical smell or feeling. (You don’t have to buy these brands, I just posted photos for you to see an example.)

Our skin is our largest organ, if you don’t take care of it, it won’t take care of you.

I find almost always in my life, less is more and when you go live you feel alive.

I have tons to share on skincare but this is a start.

Coconut oil, Cocoa butter and shea butter are my favorite, you can buy these in the raw form and give your body the love it deserves without chemicals and processing. Mix them together and experiment.

I mix these and add an essential oil I like to it. You can look up all kinds of essential oils that are best for skin. I use what smells good to me and I decide the amounts for me and for each individual as I go, using intuition and muscle testing also to confirm.

This is simple, affordable and works amazing.

More books I love:

9781401943424_p0_v2_s550x4069781611803433_p0_v1_s550x406

These two books have been very enlightening guides to my relationship with myself and learning more about listening to my soul, that always in truth brave, courageous part of us.

Nutrition:

20180125_105515889071070.jpg

The other very important tool I’d love to share is eating right. I have heard for years as a fitness and nutrition professional,” I eat healthy already”, but can you help me get in shape?

First thing I ask is for a 3 day exact menu and then I ask, “how serious are you and why do you want to get in shape?”

Learning to love food is equivalent to loving yourself, not someone else.

20180327_185410838841901.jpg

I know the moments where you just want to throw caution to the wind and eat something for a reward and feel like crap and wonder why you did it or what was the reward was if it makes you feel horrible?

img_20180309_103447_764507442369.jpg

There is an online journal called penzu that is easy to use and has an app for you phone to journal privately and share what you want, create a folder called foods or whatever excites you. https://penzu.com/

Mimi Kirk is my favorite raw foods chef if you like raw foods or want to experiment with recipes , here is her site  http://youngonrawfood.com/

So journal your meals for a week, the feeling you had when you ate it and ask a professional to look at it.

If you are a surgeon you don’t have a nutritionist come in and sew up your patient.

Ask someone that knows and keep moving. (see my about page)

When you love your body , your body returns the love!

Open the door to possibility, it’s right outside

Where the suns radiance warms your core

While raining tears fall from heaven down your cheeks

Where each blade of grass has a dalliance with the sky

And trees reach their limbs as if they had eyes

It’s possible its right there

Open the door

Look and see

Antidote

The solution is in the light!

Those rays lifted me
Fed my soul
Believed I could
Showed me the loving truth
My source of complete light
Lead me and enlighten my heart

And without delay

Completeness rattled my cage
And under those rays, the fog cleared
Natures sweet whisper spoke
I am your antidote

Hello, all my beautiful and amazing friends,

First, I want to start off with a HUGE thank you for your support, your comments, and desire to help one another succeed by sharing. I love this community and the desires to help one another grow.

Weekly, I will be sharing people, ideas, sites and things I have implemented along the way to help me heal and grow. Please feel free to add your site with your intention and purpose for others to grow and let this be a wonderful opportunity for us all.

I have so much to share, spreading it out weekly will be an opportunity to practice my own discernment, and not giving away all my energy at once. My nature is to be excited and share it all, then take a nap. (P.S. and feeling guilty for the nap and resting)

How many of you can resonate with that?

That was me before I fell on my face a few thousand times of exhaustion, I was causing myself. I could start a nap club now and be excited about it. It’s a “HELL YES” for a nap. “Do it and love it,” and anyone that creates an attitude from you resting needs to rest themselves, guaranteed.

In the process of learning to own, share and protect my energy and even encapsulate it at times, and more so for you, empaths and “Super Trait Empaths” as I am,  (Christine Northrup M.D.)  will be a solid place to learn.

A few helpful shares you can implement right away:

1. If you’re frustrated, mad, disappointed and unable to create calmness inside, text yourself everything you want to shout out to someone else. You must get this out as fast as possible before it festers in your cells and causes anxiety and sickness, not to mention exhaustion and confusion. Title the note and spill your guts, don’t hold back any cuss words or thoughts. (make sure you’re texting yourself and not someone else, they have different results, trust me on this one).

The energy you are dispersing starts to flow and let go and you don’t give your power away to someone else. This allows you space to shift without interference and choose a response from an empowering place.

2. When you want to spill all your gratitude, love and apologies to someone that has you spinning to apologize to them for something they did, text it to yourself and then read it, it’s for you not the other person. Trust your inner voice, when to apologize and share your love and gratitude to others and be aware and awake to thieves looking for your beautiful energy.( Christine Northrup M.D.’s, “Dodging energy vampires”.)

3. When your heart is pounding and your head is spinning in a million directions, you’re not dancing on a solid foundation. STOP! Take 10 deep breaths and visualize your feet having roots that connect to the core of the earth keeping you grounded, “YES 10”, you’re worth it.

This will allow your heart and mind to harmonize and dance again with soul intent.

Stretch your body and mind EVERY SINGLE DAY! When you stretch your body you stretch your mind and when you stretch your mind your body will give you more.

I do these every single day, sometimes numerous times a day!

Oxygen flows were restrictions let go.

I hope this offers some ideas to help inner restrictions let go and to start to allow flow.

Stay tuned for so much more!

Be amazing and amazed
Be bold and beautiful
Be courageously full of life
Be real and inspire
Be truthful and inspired
Be untamed and create
Be wild and unassuming
Be free to be
Be whatever it takes to rise into the moment and free yourself from the shackles that bind you and fill yourself with abundance and laugh into and until it hurts AND burst into the freedom that love is YOU!

Natures perfect exchange

Nature is our example of the perfect exchange of gifting!

~Kerri Elizabeth~

Trusting in the abundant love of the wind

The fire from the sun circulating within

Bending of the trees, inspiring resilience with ease

Let only love flow through the veins under your skin

Bare your heart to the moon

Let the roar within center you again

Spilling forth the poisons of the day

Reveal each vulnerable place to be painted with the sun and highlighted in the hues of grace

Shout and let it out

Scream so loud the vibration of the ground responds to your sound

Authentically release,”I am NOT broken”, ” I am open”

Shed into rejuvenation

No judgements, no whys, no needs, no surprise

Genuinely open

Authentically  spoken

I am whole and always have been
