There You Are

Get lost in nature and you’ll find yourself.

Grace

Were seen in the heat of the fire where intensity is felt.

In the adventure of the breeze flowing with ease.

In the spontaneity of where the pinecone re-seeds.

In the courage of the wilderness free to be.

In the river bends as the earth shifts direction again.

In the burned mountain tops carrying scars within.

Were seen in the forest floor growing where seeds have blown.

In the rivers flowing with their own tone.

In the tree stump where roots remain carrying past pain.

In the boulders that are earthly bound.

In the stars lighting up the heavens to the ground.

In the blue skies that reflect into the depth of our eyes.

Were seen in the birds singing lullabies.

In the ant climbing up a tree vertically to be free.

In the leaves that hold seasons of change.

In the sunshine that heals an emotional exchange.

Were seen in the diversity of the trees.

In the life adventuring the streams and the seas.

In the fierceness of nature’s storm.

In in the determination of the bear’s strength and form.

In the loving eyes of a deer’s stare.

In in the earth’s core where passion is bared.

In the flower that opens to the whisper of the morning light.

Were in the silence and solitude of the day and night.

Courage Replaced Fear

Do not fear to pioneer, to venture down new paths to endeavor.

Ralph J Bunche

I asked him,”can you take me to the highest place?”

“What then,” his response, with a puzzled look on his face?”

“I will know when I get there,” I replied.

The feeling to go I couldn’t hide.

When we arrived at the mountain top.

I felt pulled to be on the ground and look up without a sound.

Suctioned to the earth,  I was covered by the heavens all around.

I sat up and looked in front of me and knew.

The mountain was holding a special view.

To some it may sound silly to hear, to me it was audibly and visually clear.

The mountains and the heavens are your gear.

Slide into the lake and conquer another fear.

I asked again,”can you take me to the lake to swim in the darkness of the night?”

With an expectant look he replied, “Yes, let’s do your bucket list right.”

The waters would signify all the tears through the years.

The moonlight would shine as nature pulls me near.

Grounded in earth, heaven and grace.

The moment delivered another embrace.

Swimming in the deep dark waters of the night was set.

My mountain man driving a boat to protect.

Each breath signified doing something new.

Accepting the challenge to be scared and move through.

To create love where misunderstandings appear.

To be strong where weakness fed on a reflection in the mirror.

To be aware where denial steals time.

To stand off the defensive line.

To strip it all down to the ground.

Letting go where you once were bound.

Wake Up To The Challenge

The pain remains until you find a way to challenge it and grow beyond that plain.
Kerri Elizabeth

Waking up
Shall I wake?
In a dream so clear.
I heard the silent voice of fear.
Will I wake to see more clear?
Will the pain inside disappear?
Surrendering to the voice of my soul.
Awaken to the vibrant energy you hold.
Breathe out the fear and in the beauty that surrounds your tears.
Grasp the flowing of every healing molecule near.
Similar to the flowing synchronicity of waves to the shore.
Love tumbles and tosses smoothing the jagged thoughts to more.
In the center of the sunrise and sunset ,no hindrance, affectation or fear exist.
Pretentious existence is void.
Authenticity knows not to resist nature’s healing kiss.
