He’s Here

He appears with a smile, putting on a show, still the entertainer!

Subtle white flakes falling from the sky

Branches catching them as they go by

Blue skies experiencing a new hue

Wonder explodes in design

A new view is defined

Revealing a show

More starts to flow

Mesmerized in the moment

Entertained by the miracles of the sky

A smile appears

He’s here

I see you my child in all you do, I’m always entertained by your humor and joy that falls from the sky while you leave smiles going by.

I love you forever Zakary Ryan, I see you!

    • Thank you , that was my most heart wrenching moment, the loss of my 24 year old son to acute lymphoblastic leukemia and a long 5 year journey to say good bye in one form and welcome the many many moments he awakens my soul now!

    • Oh it is a life long journey I will forever appreciate in all beautiful ways . In happy , sad and many hard ways too, that continue to sway my perspective to more ease and flow, they both dance together so beautifully and the allowance I give myself to feel each one is part of the beat to each new dance step. I continually am learning that’s forsure. Thank you for your beautiful thoughts!!!!

        • Absolutely, he will be dancing with you here and in the days to come … never doubt that.. I believe when we start to doubt it’s our minds doing its job, thinking , finding solutions, adventuring possibilities , but also causing more grievances and pains than need me .. it’s when we go into the body , feel our heart, let the mind rest and be with the body when we find the answers and peace. Do you agree or how do you find peace?

          • Your words are so wise and grounding. I agree—peace comes when we reconnect with the body and let the mind rest. For me, writing or being in nature helps. How do you find your moments of peace?

            • Oh yes I’m an all nature girl.. I live in a small island on a lake w nature at my finger tips.. I grew up in a small cabin in the mountains on a river.. nature is everything to me.. and writing and painting sets me free within nature.. I have a painting shed here in the woods on my moms property (my birth mom died three years ago , but was never close to me, I was adopted by a mom here in the island and we have the most incredible relationship, we adopted each other) . The shed is my sanctuary in the woods w a stream in front and woods all around it.. near the ocean and u can see it through the woods.. and a field my dogs run crazy in front.. I’m building a deck around it this year. Swimming the lake in all weather is also a peace for me.. nature is the healing power of all things. It’s the hands that hold me!
I’m so happy you have that as well and find your peace there. Do you have it close by ?

  2. Your connection to nature is truly beautiful. I don’t live on an island, but my neighborhood is full of trees and vibrant flowers. Running through them, with the breeze and birdsong around me, brings such peace. Nature really does have a way of grounding us—just as you said. Thank you for sharing your world!😊
