“What recedes does not vanish, it lingers in the sand, waiting to be found again.” The tide had pulled back, leaving traces scattered across the shore. A broken shell, a tangled string of weeds, footprints pressed into damp sand, evidence that nothing ever truly disappears. What drifts away always leaves its mark, quiet but undeniable.

I loved writing this series.. it was based on a real life happening and I wrote it in a way I could heal and share without giving up details but instead the emotion I had to travel through.

I love metaphors of nature, Kerri. This is so beautiful! I was just thinking how I named one of my instrumentals “Guitar Tides!”
