After the Noise, the Listening

Where seasons reach out to one another, the change is purposeful.

There is a moment after the holidays that often goes unnamed.
The lights dim, the schedules loosen and the energy makes a quick shift.
What remains is full of information.

The body is still processing.
The heart is still sorting.
The nervous system is recalibrating after intensity, whether that intensity came from joy, grief, connection, separation, or expectation.

This is not a time to decide who you are or where you’re going next.
This is a time to be most present and purposeful.

What you feed your mind right now matters.
What you allow into your presence matters.
What you replay, what you consume, what you dwell in, all of it becomes structure.

Not because it’s right or wrong,
but because attention builds architecture.

What you notice stabilizes.
What you resist persists.
What you listen to teaches you
where alignment already exists.

This is where renewal actually begins,
not with resolutions,
not with pressure,
not with fixing anything,
but with purpose.

Are you moving through the day with kindness or resistance?
Are you feeding your body nourishment or distraction?
Are your thoughts pulling you backward, or allowing you to arrive fully here?

The past is a foundation, not a destination.
Memory can guide, but it cannot lead.

You don’t step forward by erasing what was.
You step forward by using it as experience,
by choosing a slightly different turn,
by experimenting with one small shift.

A new path doesn’t announce itself loudly.
It opens quietly when you’re willing to listen.

The forest doesn’t explain itself.
It invites you to breathe
and discover what is already alive.

Today doesn’t ask you to change your life.
It asks you to notice it.

Gentle Practice:
Lower the volume, just a little.
Less input, more purpose.
Ask one simple question, without needing an answer:
What is available to me right now?

Tomorrow, we explore change and how small shifts in attention can quietly realign an entire season.

Leaves of Becoming

“Falling is not failure, it is a trust in the land.”

Leaves drift through open air,
no fear in letting go,
they trust the wind to guide them
to places they don’t know.

And maybe every ending
is simply a returning,
to rest within the change,
and shine in the revelation.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
By tomorrow, the wind will quiet, and something long awaited will begin to form.

The Turning of Leaves

“Change does not ask permission, it simply reminds us it is always there.”

The leaves had begun their slow burn of color. Gold and crimson drifted through the air like small notes of surrender. There was no resistance, only rhythm.

Watching them fall felt like watching truth land gently where it belonged. Nothing forced, nothing rushed. Just the quiet understanding that what is ready to release will do so in its own time.

Some changes were visible, others unseen, but all belonged to the same cycle, light revealing what darkness had prepared.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, the wind will carry these colors farther, spreading messages of release and renewal.

Reflection relies on truth

Reflection shows up to a varied response, but never a varied truth.

Even when a reflection invites varied responses

Truth is it’s constant rythym

Reflective responses vary by emotion and circumstance

Changing like the rivers current

Truth that the rivers current moves

That the sun rises and sets

That is a truth in constant rhythm

Even in a blur of the morning dew

Or a beautiful evening rain

The truth that is constant brings the change

Change although constant relays upon the truth

Align Again

Change is embraceable only when you spend more time standing in the change then paralyzed in the emotion.

~Kerri-Elizabeth~

In the consumption of experience complete overflow spills over

No comfort zone to this process

A complete and deliberate graceful transcendence must arrive

A wake-up to what is inside

Memories flow and triggers of the past simultaneously let go

The breakdown and astonishment render inspired risk to be free

Anger must be unmasked as its true self to transform into awareness and not control

As the waves create white caps and the wind howls with fury

I am reminded to be still and let go of worry

Control masks itself and hides its insecurity and the wind forces its abrupt revealing

Inner conversations of fear disengage the heart and build among the scars

Consciousness must arise and trauma is a reminder to align again the heart, body, mind and soul

Purge tension and evacuate from familiarity and risk courage on an unknown path

Invite peace and solitude to your present state

Trust in the disassembling inside and arise to the peaceful place you can reside
