To give honor and respect to another

Honor and respect must first flow through you

To build a secure foundation for oneself inside

Requires tenacity and determination

To love oneself through the highest and lowest of times

Requires oneself to experience love

Love is continually gained and lost before we understand its significance

Even then there is an unknowing

An unknowing opens up vulnerability

To stand in the muck of life and be vulnerable 

Is where we gain our best self

It is where we find what we’re made of

Where we get to see where we paid attention

Where we have gone and what we took with us

Shows up

I realized after I lost my 24 year old son two years ago now, that pain really is inevitable, it happens to everyone and can happen without warning. We can be in our most vulnerable place inside and something happens and splits you wide open. You weren’t ready, you weren’t prepared and the honest truth is NOTHING could prepare you.

So then what? It is there where everything in our lives that we either let go of or held on to, shows up. Every lesson and every heartache is remembered and the wounds are fresh again. However in that moment where the heart remembers the pain it also remembers the healing and how you gave that attention or not.

If you didn’t put the work in and ignored it and allowed it to heal shut without acknowledging and entering into it, it will continue to walk you through it until you do, and then it will challenge you to make sure you learned. Its inevitable!

The lesson from something profound and often something so small can trigger all the same emotions. It is simply when you can feel the chaos of the moment and stand in it with freedom you are not in the chaos of this experience anymore. Reflect on the familiarity of being here before and what was learned and how honor and love are applied

STILLNESS MOVES

It seems the stillness is where everything is found

Where movement comes alive

Where the waves crashing tell a story

Where the leaves dance and sing with glory

Where the birds soar with intension 

Where pain and joy have no tension

Where love remains throughout

It seems in the stillness is where everything is found

Where feeling is in the beat of your heart

Where your mind sinks into a rational peace 

It seems that in the stillness is where everything is found 

When your lost, be still, you will hear the whisper

Be still it is where everything is found

In my stillness I can feel the intensity of all that moves around me. I can feel my heart beating and my chest rising. I can almost see with inner eyes the blood flowing through me.  I can see the pain in another eyes and wonder is that the reflection of so much more to be healed within me?

Where you are calm you will hear, where you are still you will know, where you find peace, love will grow.

Your body is already speaking to you, it wants more or less of something, it may be in pain, or sickness or anger has driven a wedge between you and stillness. Sadness may be filled with joyful gestures to cover up the feeling we can’t seem to shake and loss may be settling in your bones with numbness you can’t seem to touch.

What if all of this is ok and what if all of this is the beautiful process we need to become our truest version of ourselves. What if who you are right now is exactly who you need to be ,to become who you want to be. What if every step from this space is a step forward into the acceptance, it is the process. It is the falling apart that requires us to heal.

A  path of presence

Resides inside

Waiting to be felt

Alert and aware 

Do you dare

Feel the scars you bare

By sight you may see 

 Scars on every leaf

Scars upon the trees

By sight you may see 

Scars upon a cheek

Scars mistaking us as visually weak

Every scar will leave a story

An experience bared

Healing to share

Nature reveals the dance

Along every path

Beyond a glance

Scars reveal another chance

We have scars on the physical self that reveal the stories of our life. Then we have the scars inside that reveal the experience of moments in our life often stopping time and the ability to be present in NOW.

A scar a sign of strength that you are capable of healing.

They are there to teach you and to grow you not to trap you and to close you.

Create  space where new outlooks are revealed. Getting stuck in the mundane and the ordinary leaves you walking a path unhealed where presence cant be felt or experienced, only wanted and never touched.

I searched for you and me

I looked high and low, in front and behind every tree

I glanced off the cliffs below

I searched long and hard, did you know

In the clouds and in the lakes

I searched rivers and mountains with no breaks

I called for you and no one replied

I cried for you inside

I drove miles and miles looking for a glimpse to pull aside

I longed for you and knew you longed for me

To find you was beyond my reach

I was looking for you 

Missing every queue

I looked for the depth of what I should be

Who someone else wanted to see

I lost sight of my own dreams

I thought I was lost where I once was found

Then one day courage stood its ground

Vulnerability spoke with a fierce sound

When we experience life, life is also experiencing us, I believe. When we go farther and faster and search for ourselves instead of the experiences that creates our selves ,we miss the queues that it is ourselves we are escaping.

When we run from ourselves, we run from our faith, our beliefs, our dreams and our core foundation. When we deny our own existence is not enough because of someone else’s opinion or judgement, then we deny our ability to grow, to serve, to lead, to inspire, to be driven, to reach, to grasp courage with all your might and LIVE beyond limitations set by ourselves or others.

We become stuck within another or others lives and deny our own growth waiting for another growth. The best gift you can give yourself and another is the freedom to be loved at the exact place you are so they have room to move forward. This is courageous!

Inquire Within

Trust is developed from how you inquire from within!

Dare to live with a curious inquiring from within
Believe in something you’ve never known
Trust in your heart with out questioning the mind
How many petals do you need to land on “love me” to believe it
Renew your spirit and polish your curves
Surround yourself in natures lights
And rest into the darkness of the glowing night

Trust is not broken from another action, unless we define it that way.  Once someone wrongs us, we stay within that action and own it and live it, losing trust and limiting our love for life and our ability to connect with others.

If we hold that wrong, we then continue to give power to the wrong and the person we feel that did it. In the process of healing I found there also has to be a letting go of distrust and caution to a point you are limiting your own life.

Live with freedom and send back any bad energy to the person dealing it. The minute you decide to give yourself permission to interact within a negative space you take that energy on as your own.

Sender wins and the loss of trust is now building from within.

If it’s being delivered negatively it’s not yours, breathe and physically move your arms in a way that you can mentally, emotionally and physically remove and send it back to sender.

DONE, move out of their energy space, build trust within yourself, this is where defense is dropped. When we respond in defense we have already lost, defense is guilt, a place within we lost trust.

Believe in something you never have……..an example might be believing that 10 deep breathes before you respond will save you a rollercoaster of reactions.

It is in the essence of life treasure is held and in the heart where it is felt.

Brokenness tears down walls
Freed in the midst of unjust ways
Through struggle and through doubt
Chained to pain
Drugged by societies vanity
Judgement is owned by questioned sanity
Strained by grief
Needing relief
Searching the halls for secret walls
Where is the escape route
Then brokenness lead the way
The walls perceived, were only a belief
Brokenness rumbled through every crack
The inner echoes shattered like glass
The kingdom has no walls
No halls that echo our calls
It is the freedom of creation
The divine wireless call above it all
Get back up and stand tall
The kingdom has no doors
No ceiling, no floors
It’s infinite and more
It’s every sunrise and every storm
It has no chains
Other than the ones we create in discouragement and shame

It has been in my deepest pains I became chained.
I found that within the walls of my own doubt, I denied myself, I built a Kingdom within that was not what Gods plan was when Grace spoke, the kingdom of God is within.
I visualized a palace, a castle per se, with brick walls and long halls, darkness at times, emptiness and isolation closed in .
I had no escape route it seemed, I didn’t even realize I had done that until one day on my morning walk with God and my dogs, I was stopped in my tracks.
With the sun shining in the morning glare everywhere, where the mist laid on my skin and the clouds remained on the horizon again.
I GOT IT!!!!!
I felt God…………. WITHIN is NOT with walls and halls, there are no bricks and mortar and bridges to cross.
Within is open like nature, full of views and the freedom to move, it is not entrapment my child with doors and corridors, it is not the perception you created to protect your fears.
It is in the wilderness of pain your joy is found, release the chains, brokenness is simply an openness to recieve.
The chains fell off and the walls fell down and the castle I built that held my grief, my anger and my doubt had no where to be stored and I ran out of rent to pay the bill for the storage unit I built.

Shame and blame reside only in the thoughts chosen to proclaim
Withdrawl from the worth of our existance shackles our inner doors
Surrendering is a willingness to breathe divinely
Surrendering to helplessness and unwillingness breeds shame
Surrender to a timeline based upon self not spirit is chance
Surrender to the spirit guidance is truth written into a graceful dance
Love is with our scars and wounds
Rejection and fear offer shaky platforms, reflecting an invitation to change
Stand with me, with all my scars and flaws
Stand with my bullet holes from pain created for light and rainfall to cleanse what remains

Love to you all, this day is a new day and you are worth it, live it, breathe it, feel it, see it, care about it, create newness in it, love the moment, be present, sink into the love of natures voice, decide, stand in your truth, be kind and humble.

Love all the way!

I have learned that, to love another fully you must first love yourself fully, yourself as the reflection of our source ( to me that’s God)then in that process you will receive love fully.

To love fully you must trust yourself fully, then you will receive trust in full. To love fully you must be willing to risk challenging circumstances, you must be willing to grow and evolve. To love you must be willing to have faith to move a mountain and stand in your full truth.

If someone asks you a question, you must answer with honesty and full truth. This is yours and the others step to freedom, it is your strength to stand in truth  that removes enabling another to hear the truth.

We must not hide behind our fear to answer and expect growth and love to fill every cracks and heal our wounds. This is our time to speak and be loved for all we are.

The questions are asked as in invitation for both parties to face their deepest truths ( whether they like it or not) and not shrink back.

Be BOLD and BE FIERCE in the truth no matter what it is.

Lay down shame, guilt, tyranny and fear and unlock the shackles that bind and the emotions that tangle and intertwine into confusion and overwhelm.

Do not hide in fear you will be judged or mocked, abandoned or rejected. It is in these things we have an opportunity to build our deepest strengths. There will be mud to trudge, there will be quicksand set in your path and there will be dark days and words that will paralyze you and send you whirling for peace.

YOU become stronger every time you stand in YOUR TRUTH and then, the gift, you will always know whether you are loved fully and complete and doubts will fall away.

You give choice to others and in your truth you will see the truth!

The Pace Inside

The pace inside is based on our own courage to surrender the entangled knots inside to the stillness that knows no time or restraints!

Perpetual perseverance
Demands its authority
Appearing through emotions
Tears overflow integrated and entangled
Happiness, sadness and surrender have no separation
Inevitable movement continues
“Stop please”, I ask, “just for a moment”
“Slow down, I dont want to miss a second”

There are times inside the chaos and the history of trauma and our pasts get so knotted up inside we can not feel the stillness, there is a lack of movement and oxygen.

When I get to this place I always realize I am holding my breathe, not trusting and worrying about things I can not control. Then a dilemma, when I decide and realize what I can change, often it’s not what I want to change.

This brings anxiety and it all starts to overflow and tears come like a dam that just broke. It is inevitable, emotions will move, our lives move, our bodies move, our lungs take in and let out air, movement. Our hearts beat, our blood moves, our world continues and the pace inside must find a way to courageously let go and flow with peace and stillness.

Stillness is not without movement. This is a term set out to teach one to stop and feel what is moving without additional purposeful movement, such as the heart and lungs, and our blood flowing.

Meditation and body position invite courage to surrender giving room for oxygen to change the chemistry of the emotion and anxiety to freedom.

This is a lifestyle not a quick fix…
