The Bridge Between Worlds

“Some lights do not fade with distance, they become the horizon we walk toward.”

October closes not with silence, but with reverence.
The month began in fog and stillness and ends in light that refuses to dim.
Each story, each wave of emotion, has been a lesson in continuation, how pain and peace can travel side by side, how love reshapes itself to stay.

Zakary’s birthday became the center of that light, a day when memory and presence merged.
His laughter still ripples through the air; his curiosity still stirs the questions that make us brave enough to live honestly.
Through his journey, we remember that healing is not erasing, it is learning to carry beauty and ache together without losing either.
He reminds us that endings are simply thresholds, and connection never breaks; it only changes its form.

October has been a teacher of slowing down, of listening between breaths, of cleansing through truth and reflection.
It has asked us to look beyond what we can touch, to trust that unseen work is always unfolding, that love moves quietly beneath every surface.

Now November waits at the door, carrying gratitude in one hand and promise in the other.
It whispers: Bring what you’ve learned. Bring what you’ve loved.
The light you carry forward is the same light that began it all.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, November will open its first page, where gratitude meets revelation, where new insights and journeys travel through Novemeber with a rejuvinated openness and awareness with conversation and learning, with sharing and celebrating and a stirring of something I havent shared yet and still showing itself worthy of a slow entrance. There will also be another big celebration right around the corner.

The Ripple of Truth

“Truth moves gently like the ripples on the water”

A single stone of knowing,
dropped quiet into grace,
sends circles out to places
that time cannot erase.

No wave against another,
no clash of wrong or right,
just water meeting water,
and opening to light.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, the ripples will settle and in their calm, a new reflection will appear.

Reflections of the clouds

“What we see in still water depends on how willing we are to be still ourselves.”

The lake mirrored the clouds as they broke apart, white, gray, and threads of gold. Each reflection looked both true and altered, like truth itself showing different sides depending on the angle of heart and light.

Stillness revealed more than movement ever could. Beneath its surface, something continued to work quietly. The waiting wasnt over, but the fear of waiting softened. The waiting became an understanding, where fear disapeared.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, the reflection will ripple, showing how motion and peace can live in the same space.

When the Fog Begins to Lift

“Revelation is not sudden, it is the slow kindness of light finding its way through.”

Morning came quiet but different. The fog that had held the cove in its arms began to thin, revealing outlines that had long been hidden. Nothing startling, just a soft unveiling, like the world remembering its own shape.

In that return of clarity was a gentle reminder: truth doesn’t rush. It waits for readiness. The same stillness that once felt heavy now shimmered with invitation. Leaves glistened with dew, each one a mirror of change already underway.

There was peace in not needing every answer yet. The unveiling itself was enough.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, the fog will rise , and what stands in full view may ask to be seen differently.

Leaves That Cover Truth

“What lies beneath is part of the journey, it teaches us how we trust the unseen.”

Leaves fall across the pathway,
a softness to the cover,
they whisper with each footstep,
you’ve carried this so long.

The cover is not hiding wonder,
its revealing more is there, right under.
What is there is soon uncovered,
as the winds reminisce with the seasons of thunder.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, the week will close, and October’s cover will turn into October’s unveiling.

The Covered Path

“What is hidden is not gone, it waits to be revealed in time.”

The path along the cove disappeared beneath fallen leaves. Yet anyone who had walked it before knew it was still there. Hidden, yes. Erased, no.

October does this, it covers what is known, so that discovery can happen again. It invites patience, a slowing down, an awareness that not everything is meant to be seen all at once.

Walking the covered path became an act of trust. Each step pressed into leaves that whispered: truth cannot stay buried forever. It will rise when the season is right.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, the path will clear a little more, what will you see differently?

The Weight of Waiting

“Silence does not mean nothing is happening, quite the opposite.”

October opened with a heaviness, not loud, not rushed, but dense as fog pressed against the cove. The silence was misleading. It seemed still, but beneath it, movement gathered, papers shuffled behind closed doors, decisions were being made in rooms unseen.

Life on the surface looked the same, driveways quiet, doors closed, familiar cars passing by with eyes fixed forward. Not confrontation, not kindness, just avoidance. In some ways, it was easier that way, silence was less piercing. But silence has its own edge, and it reminds you to listen deeper.

Waiting can feel endless. But October has its way of reminding all senses, nothing is truly still. Branches bend, shadows lengthen, and tides always shift. The question is not if movement comes, movement is part of stillness, it is in the beat of every heart while stillness is working. It is the pulse of life all around while stillness is practiced, stillness does not work alone, it works with the gratitude that both can be felt at the same time.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
Tomorrow, the silence will feel different, the air is changing and the stillness is surrounded by movement. Do you notice the movement around you when you are still or in stillness do you tune out movement around you?

The Shivers of Shadows

“Stillness is rarely still.”

There is a shiver where silence settles,
not from the cold,
but from the way truth presses against the walls.

Shadows lengthen,
not because the light has shifted,
but because deception stretches farther than we thought.

A pause is never just a pause.
It is a weight.
It is the sound of something unsaid
carving a hollow behind the ribs.

Sometimes I wonder if silence is a shield
or if it is a weapon,
cutting deeper with every moment it holds back.

And yet,
in the same stillness,
a spark waits.
A reminder that even in the grip of hidden lies,
the body knows,
the spirit remembers,
and nothing stays buried forever.

-Kerri-Elizabeth-
When silence finally breaks, will it whisper, or will it roar?

Nature’s Wisdom: Finding Strength in Storms

A view of a tall tree with a trunk in focus, showcasing bright green and yellow leaves at the top, set against a clear sky.

Growth takes a lifetime of strength through life’s storms, don’t miss a drop of rain or a ray of sunshine.

~Kerri Elizabeth~

Whisper to me your journey to the sky
Speak slowly so I can write them all
Share with me every rain drop you’ve felt
Every shiver in life’s storms that brings strength
As you stand protecting me

Strength through life’s storms creates resilience and endurance.
Share with me every ring you earned at your core
As you share, I’m listening
To the winds shuffling your leaves
The crackling among your branches
The dew among the grass sharing precious reflections
Nature will inspire you with growth
Where God so creatively painted all the answers

After enduring the challenges, you will feel sunshine often after gaining strength through life’s storms.
