When the light of the day slowly fades

Sounds quiet down all around

Shade takes the stage gently perspective is changed

Where a moment ago light and shade both took center stage

They bow with the honor of true love in a universal exchange

Miraculously the tides never hide

Crashing and surging to a universal rhythm

Pebbles in infinite amounts toss and turn

Offering an insurmountable melody of beauty to align

Give way to a thought, what is life about

Some days interpret as heavy

Some say, ready

Others seem even and steady

As the light will slowly fade

Another day is gifted into the nightshade
